Not all prostate cancers are created equal.
When you get your report back from the urologist (and yes it is okay to ask for a copy of it so you can study the specifics), you need to note the number of cores positive and the Gleason’s score. Low volume – low Gleason’s score…good. High volume – high Gleason’s score…bad. Speak to your doctor about the specifics of the biopsy and how that should impact your treatment decision.
